Increasing safety in buses and at bus stops is the aim of our project "Bus School", which was organised in cooperation with the Primary School Prags. For one day the classroom was exchanged with the public bus and the pupils of the primary school were invited to the project day.
By means of many exercises, various situations were simulated. Whether it was the correct way to get on and off the bus, how to behave on the bus or brake tests - important aspects were pointed out in a playful way. The children were particularly impressed when they were allowed to sit in the driver's seat and were warned of the danger of the blind spot. The group was surprised how little the driver can actually see what is happening around the bus. Both children and teachers were enthusiastic, which is why the project will be repeated at regular intervals.
