Highlights of this tour:
- The world-famous Pragser Wildsee lake, one of the most impressive mountain lakes in the Dolomites.
- Panoramic winter hike along the sunny side of Braies valley
- A fantastic view over the entire valley and the mountain peaks of the Fanes-Sennes-Braies Nature Park
Your driver and guide will pick you up in a comfortable minivan directly at the hotel. The day tour leads you first to the impressive Pragser Wildsee lake (1.496 m). The lake became world famous because of its intense emerald green colour. In winter, the Pragser Wildsee is usually hidden under a thick layer of ice and snow in a wintry idyll and captivates with its very own charm. Glittering snow crystals, snow-covered forests and on the horizon the imposing massif of the Seekofel (2,810 m) - enjoy this dreamlike natural scenery.
For the lunch break, you will visit a beautiful restaurant, where you will be spoiled with typical South Tyrolean dishes. These are created from organic products from local farmers as well as many agricultural products from the in-house farm.
After after having enjoyed the regional specialities, take a short panoramic hike on the sunny side of the Braies and experience this idyllic valley, surrounded by striking peaks of the Dolomites, from above. You will walk past several originally preserved mountain farms to the highest point of the hike at 1.410 m. There you will find the final highlight of the tour: an impressive view over the entire valley up to the end of the valley, ending with the dominating Seekofel, which you have previously seen from close.
On the way home there is the opportunity to taste typical locally produced specialities such as jams and cheeses and to buy them for the enjoyment at home.
