You will be picked up at your hotel by your driver and tour guide in a comfortable Executive Van. First stop on this day trip is on the Plätzwiese plateau at approx. 2000 m above sea level, in the heart of the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park. A short hike from here takes you on to the Strudelkopf mountain. From the " Homecomers' Cross" (2.307 m), you can then enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic vistas in the Dolomite region, including views of the Hohe Gaisl, Seekofel and Monte Cristallo mountains, as well as the Cadini and Tofana groups, the Marmolada mountain and the world-famous Drei Zinnen.
On the way back, you stop at a traditional mountain refuge to fortify yourself with South Tyrolean specialities, before continuing on to the Pragser Wildsee lake (1.496 m). The lake is famous for its luminescent emerald-green waters, set against the imposing backdrop of the Seekofel mountain massif (2810 m).
You then circumnavigate the lake. The popular footpath around this enchanting mountain lake is a unique natural experience in itself. Well secured along its entire length, the trail runs partly along the lakeshore, and in sections also on the wooded slopes just above it.
Whether scenic or culinary: the Braies Valley has not only unique natural sites to offer, but also culinary delights - to taste or to take home. Enjoy the fantastic views at the Braies Lake and on the Prato Piazza plateau as well as the all-round panoramic view of the Dolomite peaks from the Strudelkopf. On the way home there is the possibility to taste and also to buy typical, locally produced specialities such as jam, marmalade and cheese.
To savour and enjoy special moments is the motto of this tour, which leads to the most beautiful places in the Braies Valley.
